The origin of the Universal Solidarity Movement of Value Education for Peace was very simple .The small seed sprouted and grew to spread its branches all over. Phenomenal was its growth within a short span of ten years. USM has reached out to hundreds of educational institutions throughout India and abroad communicating the message of peace and promoting values of justice, true democracy and solidarity with thousands of teachers, students and parents.

It is only natural that people ask questions about its organisational and pedagogical dimensions. This site contains answers to several questions related to the growth, vision, spirituality and functioning of The Universal Solidarity Movement of Value Education for Peace, Indore, India.

USM is the fruit of a collective partnership of persons who sincerely wish to make a difference through a civilization of love. You are most welcome to share this partnership.

The Movement is based on the spiritual foundations of all the world religions. The vision statement is inspired by some of the unique and positive values of these religions. The statement promotes a paradigm shift from a narrow understanding of religiosity to a broad and liberative spirituality.
