:: Legal Holder ::

The legal holder of The Universal Solidarity Movement is Dharma Bharathi Service Society. This is a registered N.G.O. whose members belong to different religions, castes and regions of India. The responsibility of organisation and management of the Movement is vested in a seven member Governing Body elected by the General Body. Three, out of these seven members, are women. This is part of empowering women. In order to ensure the plurality of religions the seven member Governing Body consists of members from three different religions.

:: Financial Management ::

The Universal Solidarity Movement is supported by generous contributions from friends and well-wishers who come to know about the activities of the Movement through the national journal. The educational institutions and other associations who benefit from the service of the Movement also give financial assistance regularly. Each member - school where the programme of value education is introduced gives an yearly contribution of Rs. 500/- for the activities of the Movement. Several persons give their own 'widows mite' which they collect from their 'skip a meal' programme. A small percentage of the annual budget is supported by an organization after seeing the works of the Movement. Whenever the Movement faces financial difficulty friends and well-wishers come forward with their generous support. The secret of financial management lies in its transparency and accountability.

All the training programmes are self financed. The participants who attend this programme meet the expenses. They also meet their own travel expense even when they come from distant places to attend the programme. The programmes for students, teachers and others are organized in this manner.
