:: USM Emblem ::The Meaning of the Emblem Dharma is shown in the emblem as the creative space from where all values are forthcoming. It is a meeting point of all polarities. It is harmonious and peaceful, yet dynamic and creative. The ‘ocean’ and the ‘mountain’ represent the depths and heights, the dimensions of this space manifest themselves in cosmic proportions. The universal tree, represented here as a single leaf on a stem arising from the depths, stands for the entire expression of Srishti. The tree symbolises the upright human person who lives and grows according to the values of Dharma. Every authentic creation, every authentic being is necessarily marked by the sign of Dharma viz. the charka. The charka presents the movement and extension of Dharma from inner to outer space through creative life and its manifestation. |
